18th ASECAP Road Safety Conference: Programme available / register now

ASECAP will organize its 18th ASECAP Road Safety Conference on 9 March 2026 in Chambéry, hosted by ASFA, in the framework of the 17th World Congress on Road Winter Service, Resilience and Decarbonisation (PIARC).

The conference will provide a high-level platform for exchanges on current challenges, emerging trends and concrete solutions aimed at improving road safety on motorway networks.

Building & Managing the Resilient Motorways of Tomorrow:
Intelligent, Safe, Secure and Human-Centered

As mobility becomes increasingly digital, connected and electrified, road operators are confronted with new challenges — and unprecedented opportunities. From preventing wrong-way driving and managing new EV-related risks, to strengthening infrastructure resilience and protecting road workers through intelligent safety equipment, this year’s programme will showcase innovative solutions that place people at the centre of tomorrow’s motorway operations.

Key themes

The conference will notably address the following topics:

  • New technologies and innovative approaches to prevent wrong-way drivers and to secure road works environment, as well as actions to prevent staff accidents
